To ensure optimal performance, it’s crucial to supply clean, dry gases to your gas mixing systems. Installing the recommended 0.01 micron filters helps maintain the gas supply. It’s important to change the filter media periodically, with most people doing so annually for convenience. Additionally, we recommend a panel refurbishment every 5 years to replace the rubber materials in the mixing valves with new ones.
Customers can manage this preventative maintenance in various ways. Some keep spare mixing valves for the panel and swap them out during maintenance routines, sending the old ones back to us for refurbishment. Others have a backup panel already installed on the wall and switch between panels, sending the old mixing valves back to us for refurbishment. In any case, the required skill level for this maintenance is very low, ensuring quick, cost-effective and simple maintenance that doesn’t disrupt operations.
